SiGMA Nexus Elite | Executive Network by SiGMA
with Louise Mouton Tingager, Head, SiGMA Nexus Elite
In Episode 88 of iGaming Real Talk, Surya Palli speaks with Louise Mouton Tingager, Head of SiGMA Nexus Elite, about the community SiGMA is building for senior executives and industry decision-makers.
Nexus Elite is an invite-only executive network built around curated connections and experiences. Louise talks about getting to know the people behind the companies, understanding the markets they are interested in, the challenges they are facing and the people who could be relevant for them to meet.
That approach also shapes the experiences around SiGMA events. Members come together through smaller gatherings, dinners, golf and dedicated spaces, with the Nexus team also helping with the practical side of the event experience.
Louise believes this becomes increasingly important as industry events grow. A bigger floor and more attendees give people more opportunities to meet, but they do not automatically make those meetings relevant.
As she puts it, “You can’t automate a connection.”
The conversation also looks ahead to SiGMA Rome, taking place 2–5 November, and what Nexus Elite is preparing around the event. Louise discusses plans around member experiences, including dedicated spaces, transport support, accommodation, golf and smaller gatherings. Pasted markdown

"I facilitate the right environment. It's small, it's intimate. You are guaranteed to be in a room that's relevant to you."
"I want people to walk away from there having obviously made some valuable connections, but also not just business, also personally, and that they walk away from there just feeling good."
"It's more about quality than quantity. You no longer walk around and just see how many business cards you can gather anymore."
“Technology is getting faster and more automated but you can't automate a connection."
Key takeaways
Nexus Elite is built for industry decision-makers
Nexus Elite brings senior executives and decision-makers into an invite-only network built around relevant industry relationships. The idea is to create a community where members have a reason to know the people around them.
The people in the room are carefully considered
Louise gets to know members, their companies, the markets they are interested in and the challenges they are facing. That helps her identify people within the community who could be relevant for each other.
The community extends into SiGMA events
Nexus Elite members come together through dinners, golf and smaller experiences around SiGMA events. The team also works on practical parts of the experience so members can spend more time focusing on the people they are there to meet.
A bigger network does not automatically create better connections
As industry events grow, Louise sees relevance becoming increasingly important. Collecting business cards or meeting a large number of people means little if those conversations do not lead anywhere.
Personal relationships still need a human element
Technology can make communication faster and automate many parts of business, but Louise does not believe a genuine connection can simply be automated. Knowing two people well enough to recognise why they should meet remains an important part of the process.
SiGMA Rome is the next major stop
With SiGMA Rome taking place 2–5 November, Nexus Elite is preparing dedicated experiences around the event. Louise discusses plans including member spaces, transport, accommodation support, golf and smaller gatherings.

(0:00 - 1:09) Surya: It's small. It's intimate. Something that you want to be part of. Louise: It's like a mastermind. Surya: Yeah. Yeah. You no longer walk around and just see how many business cards you can gather anymore. Louise: I facilitate the right environment. Surya: Wow. That sounds like a job. Louise: I try. I try and you are guaranteed to be in a room that's relevant to you. I know that there will be a connection. Obviously, I can't force that.
You know, technology is getting faster and more automated, but you can't automate... Surya: Really. I mean, we are in iGaming. Louise: I know. Surya: It sounds very elite. What is it about? Louise: Yeah. Well, essentially it's a... Surya: Yo, we are here at iGB Live in London. Surya: iGaming Real Talk is excited to announce the next edition of Real Road Show 2026. Very excited to bring the insights from the expo floor.
We spoke to leaders and experts from companies like Alenar, State, Endorphina, SoftSwiss, My Gaming License, Techquity, EventB Gaming, PayPlay as well as many more. This series is brought to you by State, a single API game aggregator for regulated markets. (1:22 - 2:49) Surya: Hello and welcome back to another episode of iGaming Real Talk. I have Louis with me from Sigma Nexus. Louise: Thank you. Thank you for having me. Surya: You're fairly new in the Sigma team, right?
Louise: Yes. Surya: And uh... Louise: Four very good months. Surya: Four very good months. Okay. So, you're taking care of Sigma Nexus Elite program. Louise: Yes. Surya: It sounds very elite. What is it about? Louise: Yeah. Well, essentially it's a VIP program. I don't want to call it that because I think people are going to look at it and think, "Oh, here's another VIP program to be a part of." It's like a mastermind... Surya: Kind of. Louise: Yeah. Yeah. Surya: Okay.
Louise: I like to think of it as a community. Surya: Okay. The more B2B, right? We're not talking about any B2C. Louise: No. So, I just want to build a community for the C-level, for all the industry decision makers, right? So they don't waste their time, you know, walking around trying to meet the right person. But I facilitate the right environment. It's small, it's intimate. You are guaranteed to be in a room that's relevant to you. Surya: Yeah.
Louise: That you are with other people that face the same challenges as you or want to enter the same markets as you. So you have something to connect over. It's very important to me, the whole relationship part of it. Surya: Okay. Louise: So I focus a lot on that. Obviously, we also have the same perks that a VIP program should have. You know, you have premium access to lounges at the events. But I think what I really focus on is the personal aspect. Surya: Okay.
Louise: Getting to know you, who are you? What's your brand? But also, who are you? You know, so when I put together a guest list, it's highly curated and I make sure that I know that there will be a connection. Obviously, I can't force that, you know, but I can create the right environment for it to happen. (3:06 - 4:21) Surya: Where would they be coming together?
Is it like a community on Telegram, WhatsApp or is it more like do they get together at a certain location at events or how does the collaboration and the community aspect happen? Louise: So, we have the golf tournament at every Sigma event. Surya: Okay. Louise: Which is also the guest list or the players attending also highly curated. We did, last night, a small dinner at Annabel. Surya: Okay. Louise: Which was very nice. So I try and do dinners and experiences. Surya: Okay.
It's more curated based on the events that are happening in the industry. Okay. So you travel to different events every month and you organize dinners. Wow. That sounds like a cool job. Louise: I try. I try and do... I did... I get to eat really nice... Surya: Travel and organize dinners for C-levels. Louise: Yeah. But I mean I also try and do something different than just dinners, you know, because these guys, they can... Surya: So it depends. It depends on different...
Louise: It depends. I try and I want to focus more on their experience, you know, because I want people to walk away from there having obviously made some valuable connections, but also not just business, also personally, you know, and that they walk away from there just feeling good. Surya: Yeah. Louise: It's all about the good vibes, you know. Surya: Mhm. So, there's golf, there's dinners. Louise: Yep.
Surya: Are there any other activities you organize or the events that are coming up in the next few months? (4:29 - 5:05) Louise: Well, right now our focus is on Rome. You know, at Rome you will have some VIP perks. You know, there will be a very nice lounge that we are creating specifically for the Nexus Elite members. I try, I'm busy sorting out shuttles so you don't have to worry about transport back and forth. Surya: Oh yeah, that was a key thing mentioned last time.
Louise: That's what I heard. That was the most feedback I got, you know, and I try and take away logistical... Surya: Nightmares. Louise: Nightmares. So all you have to do is just focus on... Surya: The people. The people. (5:05 - 6:23) Surya: Very interesting. And how is it different to the other VIP memberships we have in the space? Like, you know, we have iGB Executive for a long time, I guess two, three years or more.
Louise: I spend a lot of time getting to know the members. So it's invite only. You can't just pay and, you know, whoever pays are part of it because I... Surya: Really, I mean we are iGaming. I know it's always about money, but it's not... Louise: About money here because I just focus on the person, you know, and it's very curated. It's something that you want to be part of.
Not just because you see the word VIP or Elite, but you know that if you come to my events, you're going to have a good time. You know, you're going to be feeling... you're going to be walking away feeling really happy and you're going to meet relevant people. And I think that's what, you know, the industry is ever growing and the floor plans are getting bigger. You know, and I just see that it's more about quality than quantity.
You know, you no longer walk around and just see how many business cards you can gather anymore. Surya: Yeah. Louise: So that's where the focus is. And there's a very personal, you know, myself and my team. You will have my WhatsApp and if you have any issues I'm here to help you. Surya: Yeah. Louise: So it's, you know, it's not some bot that you're chatting to. It's me helping you. Surya: Okay. Louise: Yeah. Surya: That sounds good actually.
(6:24 - 7:52) Surya: What do you keep hearing as the main challenges in this elite group when they come to your events, experiences? What are the challenges that they are facing? Louise: I think number one is that you see the word VIP and you think, "Oh okay, there's going to be some VIP people here." But if you can pay for a membership, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's relevant that you meet relevant people. That's the difference.
I really curate the guest list to make sure it's relevant for you. Surya: Yeah. Make sure that, you know, whoever the members are inside, whatever they are looking for gets... Louise: And that's why, you know, I need to get to know you, your brand. Surya: How do you want to grow? What are your challenges? Can I put you together with someone that can help you? Surya: Right. Okay. Now I understand. That's what you mean when you say curate.
Kind of understand what each person is looking for, what his or her challenges are, and then you try to find a match within the community that you have built. Louise: Yeah. Surya: Okay. Louise: Exactly. It's very relationship-led, you know, because technology is getting faster and more automated, but you can't automate a connection. You know, you can't. There's no strategy you can build around building a connection. It's a feeling.
So by knowing you and knowing this person, I know, okay, there could be some synergies here. Surya: Yeah, definitely. Louise: Okay. Surya: And you can't get that from, you know, a form where people apply and then they pay and then you're part of it. Here, go into this room and hopefully you meet someone. Louise: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. (7:52 - 8:48) Surya: Cool. And for Sigma Rome, what kind of experiences are being planned for the Nexus? Louise: So, we are busy sourcing hotels.
So, you know, I take away that challenge that could be finding a nice hotel. Surya: Yeah. Louise: The shuttles, a very big thing. So, we're busy sorting that out. Surya: And golf and dinners. Louise: We had golf, the golf tournament as well. And we will be having, obviously, this is our global biggest event. So, I can't do a dinner for 30 people. There's going to be a lot more people.
So there will probably be a dinner every day or some event every day, but I want to try and stick to it being smaller. Surya: Okay. Surya: How many members do you have now? Louise: Now we have 200. Surya: 200. Louise: It's still new, you know, and I'm... Surya: 200 is big. I mean, for Elite. Louise: Yeah. Yeah. Surya: If someone's watching this and they want to be part of it, what can they do? Louise: Reach out to me. Surya: That's it, guys. So, thank you for watching.
Do reach out to Louis if you want to be part of Sigma Nexus. Thank you for watching and I'll see you on the next one.
