Why the Right Event Supplier Can Make All the Difference
For most iGaming companies, events are a big investment. The stand is only one part of it. There is staffing, logistics, suppliers, organizers, budgets, deadlines and a long list of things that need to work at the same time. That is the problem GoodsWorld is trying to solve.

In this conversation, we spoke with Zakaria El Maaroufi, CRO at GoodsWorld, about how the company supports iGaming brands before and during events.
The main idea is simple: take some of the event pressure away from the client and help them spend their budget in the right places.
Here’s what stood out.
Event support goes much further than stand building
When people think about event suppliers, the first thing that usually comes to mind is the stand.
GoodsWorld does that, but Zakaria explained that the service goes much further.
The team can support stand building, staffing, bartenders and other on-site needs. They can also help clients deal with organizers and handle some of the smaller issues that normally take time away from the internal team.
For companies attending several events every year, that kind of support can make a big difference.
Instead of managing several suppliers separately, the idea is to have one team helping to coordinate more of the work.
The goal is not to make clients spend more
One of the more interesting points Zakaria made was around event budgets.
Event spending can grow very quickly. Bigger stand, more staff, more branding, more activations.
But more spend does not always mean better results.
As Zakaria put it:
“We are not here basically to make you spend money, but we are here to optimize your budget.”
That means looking at where the money is going and asking whether every part of the event setup is really needed.
For some brands, the best decision may be to spend more in one area and less in another.
The value is in knowing the difference.
Experience from the organizer side changes the way you look at events
Zakaria previously worked in business development and M&A at SiGMA, while other members of the GoodsWorld team also have experience working with event organizers.
That gives them a different view of how events work.
They have seen the process from the organizer side and now work with brands on the client side.
“We know the events from the organizer’s side, client’s side.”
That knowledge can help when dealing with organizers, planning event investments or simply knowing which problems need attention early.
Sometimes the biggest advantage is not another service.
It is knowing how the whole event system works.
Advice can be more useful than simply taking an order
Zakaria was also clear that GoodsWorld does not want to work only as an order-taking supplier.
If a client asks for something, the team may also look at whether it makes sense for the event and the budget.
The aim is to help decide where the investment can have the most impact.
That is especially useful for iGaming brands attending many conferences across different countries.
Every event is different.
The same setup, spend or activation will not always make sense everywhere.
Trust matters when something goes wrong on-site
Events rarely go exactly as planned.
Something arrives late. A supplier changes something. Extra staff is needed. The stand needs a quick fix.
That is why on-site support came up several times in the client feedback.
One client described the experience simply:
“Every time we needed something, they immediately helped us.”
Another point was having the team physically on the ground to make sure things were delivered on time.
That kind of support becomes important because problems at events usually need to be solved immediately, not after a few emails the next day.
One supplier can make event management simpler
Another client highlighted the value of getting several services through one company.
“We realized how beneficial it is to have a supplier that can offer you everything in one bundle.”
For an internal marketing or events team, this can reduce the number of people they need to coordinate with.
Instead of speaking separately with a stand builder, staffing company, bartender supplier and other vendors, more of that work can sit under one relationship.
That does not make events simple.
But it can make them easier to manage.
A new company can still have years of experience behind it
GoodsWorld itself is still relatively young.
But Zakaria made an important distinction.
“We were six, seven months old, but we have 10 plus years experience.”
The company may be new, but the people behind it are not new to events.
That experience has already helped the team work with established iGaming companies including Amusnet and BetConstruct, according to Zakaria.
For event services, this matters because clients are often trusting a supplier with something that cannot easily be repeated.
If an event goes wrong, there is no second opening day.
What stood out to us
- Event support is much broader than stand building.
- Having one supplier across several services can reduce pressure on internal teams.
- Event budgets need to be optimized, not simply increased.
- Experience from the organizer side can help brands make better decisions.
- Good suppliers should advise clients, not only take orders.
- On-site support matters because event problems often need immediate answers.
- Trust and responsiveness can be just as important as the physical stand.
- A young company can still bring years of industry experience through the people behind it.
What came through in this conversation was that good event support is less about one individual service and more about making the whole process easier for the client.
The stand still matters.
But so does knowing who to call when something changes, where the budget should go and whether someone is actually there when support is needed.
For iGaming brands doing event after event, that can become just as valuable as the final design people see on the expo floor.
When choosing an event supplier, what matters more to you: price, creative quality, industry experience or having one team that can handle everything?
